With babies and toddlers, a Koh Samui trip is mostly about the base: shade, a place to play, easy meals and a nap schedule that survives the heat. Here is what one beachfront family resort, Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach, publishes about its children's facilities, so you can compare it with other places on your list.

Kids club and play areas
The hotel describes the Jungle's Book Kids Club as a jungle-themed play area for children up to 12, free for hotel guests. It is open 9:00 to 21:00 and closes from 17:00 to 18:00 for cleaning. Children under 4 must stay with a parent or a babysitter. Some activities, such as clay modelling, pizza making or a Thai dessert class, are optional and cost extra. The family facilities page also lists a splash pad and a playground, and a babysitting service. The hotel notes that two outdoor dining areas are being upgraded, with completion expected in the first week of December 2026, and says the kids club, splash pad, playground and pool stay open.
Rooms and beds
IHG's room page lists a 40 sq m room with a king bed and a bunk bed, and a two-bedroom suite of 63 sq m with one king and two twin beds. If you travel with a baby, ask the hotel about a cot and about how many people each room allows before you book, since this guide does not cover those details.

Before you book, check the minimum age and child prices on the listing, and confirm with the operator that your hotel is in the pickup area. The listing says free hotel pickup from Chaweng and Chaweng Noi only (checked 15 October 2026), so if you stay elsewhere, for example in Bophut, ask about pickup before you book.
